Michael Crawley

Voice · guitar · bagpipes

Michael brings a storyteller’s voice, a deep feel for the room, and a lifetime of musical experience to every performance. His work with the 87th Cleveland Pipe Band is part of the musical background he carries into the duo.

Michael and Matt were founding members of Marys Lane, the Cleveland Celtic-rock band that gave them their shared musical language before Crawley & Sofranko began in 2020.

Matt Sofranko

Voice · guitar · harmony

Matt started playing acoustic guitar at 16, learning mostly by ear and drawing early inspiration from rock bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus. His playing brings an open, conversational energy to the duo.

As a founding member of Marys Lane, Matt developed the blend of harmony, rhythm, and audience connection that now shapes Crawley & Sofranko.

He has also been part of The Smug Saints, a Cleveland rock-and-roll group where he contributes vocals, bass, and original songs.
